Shogun Pro Vs. Hayate

After my 2years of having this Shogun Pro. We have to part ways in order to paved way to My suzuki Hayate 125.

This are my initial comparison on both bikes. By the way, My hayate is now on 2000 kms and its now easy for me to compare both bikes.

This was the Pro's I found on the Shogun Pro
1. Fast acceleration.
2. No modifications needed.
3. Riding skills have to be Pro.
4. Can be a tricycle.
5. High torque in terms of Hill climbing.
6.Digital gauge panel.
Cons on the Shogun Pro:
1. Vibration on engine.
2. To many fairings to remove when doing a tune up.
3. Eats up engine oil. needs to check once in awhile.
4. No power on High gears.
5.

On Hayate.

Less vibration or no more vibration.
smooth acceleration.
automatic no more kambyo kambyo.
Fast acceleration.
sleek and new design.
Big U-Box.
Autoshut off when side stand is used.
Led tail lights.
Big headlights and always on.
Big sit for rider and backride.
Powerful torque.

My Suzuki Hayate 125--solo ride to marilaque

Before I finished my break-n period or Broken Period with my New Suzuki Hayate 125. I need to test it thru the Uphill and Downhill of Marilaque. Its about 28Kms. from my place. With 1/2 tank of Unleaded gas I wave goodbye to my wife and started my Solo ride.

Marilaque is a cement and asphalt mixed road. And its somewhat more than a race track. I calculated that I can have 80kph at the curves and 115kph top speed on the straights. Not bad for a broken-in Period of new bike. The handling is more ok that the Shogun pro, No more vibration coming from the engine. Only the smooth and finie breeze of laguna de bay. Banking thru the curve is very ciritical but on this bike I find my self focus.

I've at the site as shown on the pictures about 30minutes. and really happy with this Scooter.
Worth the money and worth the try.....

Next destination Caliraya....with solo ride again.

My Super Stock Suzuki Hayate

I have bought my Super suzuki hayate last July 16,2008.The suzuki Hayate is a 125 cc bike. It's actually a scooter , a twist and go bike. Every newbie can ride this bike. Although for some Pro bikers out there you might need some modifications that would not cost you a thing.THe suzuki hayate 125 is a bulky, big scooter. although it's wheels are too thin i have bought a new pair of medium compound, A swallow deli tire.
